Writing with Fabulous Trees is an invitation to a journey on foot and on the page. Inspired by fabulous trees in London, these writing prompts will connect you with nature, the seasons and your own curiosity, no matter where you are in the world. Trees are an integral part of our living and writing selves. They contribute to the air we breathe and provide the paper we write on.
This Writing Map will prompt you to create stories out of childhood trees; connect with tree-like qualities in your own life and the lives of your characters; and explore personal ancestry in the presence of an ancient oak. Reflective and contemplative writing exercises will take you deeper into who you are, who your characters are, and help clarify the themes you want to write about.
Writing with Fabulous Trees is devised by Jackee Holder in collaboration with Shaun Levin and illustrated by Flavia Felipe. The A3 map (297x420mm) folds down to A6 (105x148mm, postcard size), and is printed on 170gsm bond paper in England.
NOTE: Appropriate for writers of all ages.
