To draw is to choose what to remember, how to illustrate what is remembered. The lovers we went places with, the lovers who liked to dance, who liked words, language, word play. Lovers who were artists and writers. Lovers we fought with and lovers we laughed with, lovers who were funny, they were fun to be around, the lovers who were funny, beautiful and funny, dancing.
